CARGO-BAY PROTECTION
Every van comes back without a charge.
Thermoformed ABS covers, shaped to your van model. No plywood, no fibreglass.

THE HIDDEN COST
An unprotected cargo bay gets paid for at the end of the contract
Every year, fleets lose money in ways that never show up on the lining quote.
Plywood swells, soaks up moisture and needs replacing in 5-8 years. An ABS lining lasts 10+ years. And in the meantime it is the vehicle's bodyshell that pays for every impact the lining fails to stop.
Eroded residual value
a scuffed, holed or dented load area is worth less at resale. The bodyshell is what holds a vehicle's value over time.
End-of-lease charges
rips, holes, cuts or missing parts to the vehicle's floor or lining are an explicit BVRLA chargeable item at de-hire. You pay for them.
Vehicle downtime
UK van downtime costs around £1,172 per van, per day. Across a fleet, internal damage repairs add up fast.
Wood that degrades
plywood absorbs moisture, swells and splinters. It needs inspecting and replacing well before the vehicle's end of life.
Quality you can't repeat
no two hand-cut linings are identical. Every van in the fleet becomes its own special case.
There is an industrial alternative, engineered to remove every one of these costs. Not a better plywood. A different way to protect the load area.
BEYONDER PROTECTION
Three modular kits
One platform for protecting the load area from the inside.
COVER
ABS side covers
High-impact thermoplastic ABS panels, side door included. They follow the cargo bay's internal shapes: more space, better ergonomics, zero sharp edges.
MATERIAL
- High-impact thermoplastic ABS · recyclable

KIT
Birch plywood floor
Birch plywood with a phenolic film applied for an effective seal and an anti-slip surface that resists daily wear.
MATERIAL
- Birch plywood
- Phenolic film

KIT
Load-rail anchoring
Load-anchoring system with rails and fixing rings. The vehicle's original anchor points are kept, for secure and versatile load restraint.
EQUIPMENT
- Lashing rails
- Load rings · original anchor points kept

THE MATERIALS
Materials the fleet recognises at end of life, not just at sign-up
Protection is only as good as what it's made of. Beyonder Protection uses certified components chosen to outlast the vehicle's cycle.
01
ABS + PMMA covers
The covers use Senoplast Senosan AM50 SOLAR EG: a high-impact ABS base with a co-extruded PMMA layer. A class-A finish without paint, resistant to UV, scratches and chemicals. It holds 16 kJ/m² impact resilience even at -30 °C, so it takes the cold of the logistics chain.
02
Phenolic birch floor
The floor uses Metsä Wood Form: birch plywood with a phenolic film. It keeps 85-90% of its strength even when saturated, with an anti-slip surface and class E1 formaldehyde emissions (~0.017 ppm). PEFC certified, CE/UKCA marked, EN 13986 compliant.
03
Built for the fleet
100% recyclable ABS, original anchor points kept, geometry true to the model. Components made to be installed and repeated at scale, not for a one-off conversion.

WHO IT'S FOR
Built for fleets, not for a single van
Where load-area protection is an economic lever on total cost of ownership rather than a functional detail, standardised, repeatable kits make the difference.
Long-term rental
Standardise protection across the fleet. Less internal damage, fewer de-hire charges, residual value defended.
Short-term rental
Vehicles that change driver constantly. Tough surfaces that take heavy use and keep the van presentable.
Logistics and 3PL
Loading and unloading all day. A lining that protects the bodyshell from shifting cargo and cuts maintenance cost.
Express couriers
Hundreds of stops a day. Protected load area, original restraint, fast to fit across large fleets.
Utilities
Heavy tools and equipment. Anti-slip floor and high-impact covers for daily professional use.
Large corporate fleets
Volume acquisitions. One Plug & Play platform, repeatable configurations, consistent quality van after van.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
The answers you want, no run-around
How much payload does it cost me?
Less than wood. A thermoformed plastic lining weighs up to 50% less than plywood panelling, more than 30 kg on a large van. Less weight means more payload and lower running costs on every vehicle in the fleet.
Can I standardise it across the fleet?
Yes. The kits are designed Plug & Play: fast to fit and repeatable at scale. That is exactly why Beyonder Protection is built for fleets, not for one-off conversions.
Does it keep the original anchor points?
Yes. The load-rail kit adds restraint without giving up the manufacturer's original anchor points. No invasive changes to the vehicle structure.
Is it compatible with my van?
Beyonder Protection covers six models (Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Jumper, Opel Movano, Toyota ProAce Max, Iveco eSuper Jolly) in L2H1, L2H2 and L3H2. Contact us to confirm your version.
What does it cost?
The 2026 list is public, ex VAT, with dedicated fleet terms available. Ask us for a quote on the configuration you need.
How is it different from plywood?
Plywood is cut and fitted by hand, absorbs moisture and needs replacing within a few years. Beyonder covers are thermoformed to the exact model geometry, don't absorb moisture, have no sharp edges and last 10+ years. And at end of life the ABS is 100% recyclable.
Every van that enters the fleet unprotected is residual value walking out
The cost of an unprotected load area isn't on the lining quote. It's in the de-hire charges, the eroded residual value, the downtime spent repairing internal damage.
A Beyonder Protection quote is the first step to running the real numbers on your fleet.
